Life is what it is...and happiness is a choice. Views from Maryland, home for now, and sometimes out and about- seeing the world whenever possible.

So today is my first post..and not sure at all how this blogging works..but I know one thing for sure. I love the blogs of others. Starting off a new year with new things..got a radical haircut..going to new places soon - Panama, trying to learn to speak Spanish too, dealing with the state of the USA in the throws of economic problems..us included. But want to stay positive, and deal with it all..positively. I'm more of a reader than a writer..but I love to take pictures, and will share them with you. I'm also more of a listener than a talker too. I'll start with our home on New Years Eve...cause Im still missing our lovely Christmas tree in our living room..just like we all missed the presence of many of our loved ones this year..since they were far away and couldn't return as usual. On the other hand...I love www.oovoo.com and www.skype.com...which has given me so much in the way of happiness in keeping in touch with our loved ones. Hopefully this blog will be much more professional as I learn the ins and outs of the site. oxoxP
